It was learned that Combs through his attorney, Kevin Costello filed a case against her supervisor, Robert Cwik of the guidance department of Bridgeton High School. Combs claimed that her supervisor suggested to her that she perform oral sex on him in 2007 and in 2008. The former employee who is also a black female alleged that during that time, she was also being treated unfairly by Cwik based on her race and gender. Combs claimed that Cwik did not provide “appropriate support” to her work which forced her to work in ways different than the “manners and methods imposed on other guidance counselors.
Combs also claimed that Bridgeton High principal Lyn Williams did not take any action when she complained of sexual harassment and unfair treatment.
The complainant was terminated from her job in 2008. She filed a lawsuit on the same year against the Board of Education and 10 individuals. The settlement release document dated January 20 this year showed Bridgeton denying all the claims made by Combs.
