Ewing Factory Accident Injures Worker

A worker was hospitalized after being injured during an accident in an industrial factory in Ewing, New Jersey, in early June this year.

According to the report from The Times of Trenton quoting Lt. Rocco Maruca, the worker who resides in Trenton works for Kinetics Industries in Ewing. Accordingly, the employee was winding copper wire. When he got to the end of the spool, accidentally the rack tipped over and fell on his back.

The police said that the rack contained three empty spools that weighs around 22 pounds each, and one full spool which has weight of approximately 300 pounds.

After the incident, the employee was brought to the Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment. The report further said that the worker’s injuries were non life-threatening.

The incident transpired on June 5 this year. Kinetics’ factory is located in the 100 block Stokes Avenue in Ewing. Kinetics Industries manufactures power conversion products for commercial, industrial and military applications.
