Refrigerator Explosion Injures Plainfield Mom, 2 Kids

Investigators are yet to conclude the cause of explosion that gravely injured a woman and two of her children on July 17, 2012, in Plainfield, New Jersey.

According to Martin Hellwig, Plainfield public safety director, they have yet to conclude whether a refrigerator was really the cause of the kitchen explosion that transpired, around 7 in the evening in a home at 700 block of West Third Street. Authorities have initially released information that the explosion may have been triggered the refrigerator’s compressor.
